Job Overview:

The Order Selector is responsible for performing warehouse system activities that ensure the accurate documentation of inbound and outbound goods, including finished goods, raw materials, and deposit items. Effective management of the flow of inbound and outbound goods is a crucial part of the Clerk's role, with a specific emphasis on proper dock management and resource allocation. The Clerk must also maintain accurate logs, records, and reports and communicate effectively with warehouse management, other departments, and business partners.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Warehouse systems can effectively process a range of inbound and outbound loads, including Stock Transport Orders, purchase orders, customer shipments, and deposit loads, to improve inventory management efforts
• Completing and refining warehouse systems reports that detail inbound and outbound schedules, dock management, stock availability, and yard upkeep can prove highly beneficial to optimal warehouse performance
• Interfaces with warehouse management, various departments, and external stakeholders to promote efficiency, monitor the precision of inbound and outbound shipments, manage appointment timing, and allocate resources efficiently
• Maintains a high level of accuracy in all logging and reporting activities, double-checking all data before submission or filing
• Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse and working environment is the foremost goal, coupled with fulfilling other obligations, including building pallets, as required by management
• Could be asked to assume additional responsibilities

One's level of understanding, competence and aptitude in a specific area are encompassed in their knowledge, skills and abilities

• A comprehensive understanding of the operations, methods, and processes utilized in warehouses, and the capability to use fundamental PC applications like Microsoft Office and SharePoint, are indispensable competencies for individuals employed in the logistics industry
• The aptitude to perform tasks in a fast-paced setting with the ability to repetitively lift and carry objects weighing 30 pounds
• Capable of hoisting objects weighing up to 75 pounds
• The aptitude to cooperate with teammates is a crucial aspect that employers look for in potential candidates
• The coordination and organization of warehouse operations play a critical role in determining the efficiency and dependability of the facility
• Being pliant enough to fulfill distinct job responsibilities and attain the minimum expectations of each task
• Proficiently understanding and following computer screen instructions
• Having the ability to tell apart our products shows that you have an eye for detail
• Power to perform responsibilities in a setting that lacks acoustic harmony and temperature control (excruciatingly hot during summers and bone-chilling cold during winters)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Despite the different pathways towards obtaining a diploma or GED, both hold equal weight in terms of academic achievement and accomplishment
• The understanding obtained during one to three years of working in a particular field
• The opportunity to acquire a PIT Certification for a Pallet Jack is available to new hires in the first month of their employment.
