Other Compensation Information

• Nighttime Wage Boost.
• Weekend Pay Supplement: A pay supplement of $2.00 per hour is provided to associates for hours worked during Saturdays and Sundays between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m.

Year End Bonus

Publix gives its associates a Holiday Bonus each November as a recognition of their contributions to the organization.

Any newly hired associate who joins Publix prior to July 1 is eligible for a bonus that equals 8 hours of pay for the position.

For associates hired after July 1, there will be no bonus during their first year of employment. However, if the associate remains employed until the issuance of the bonus check, they may be eligible to receive a bonus equivalent to 8 hours of pay.

Required Qualifications

• be at least 18 years old
• be able to work nights
• be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
• obtain certification in pallet truck and forklift operations (on or before his or her start date in the position)
• be able to lift a minimum of 67 pounds
• be able to bend, stoop, and twist
• be able to stand for long periods of time
• be able to operate a pallet truck or forklift without any part of his or her body exposed outside of the operator compartment
• successfully complete the following tests (before his or her start date in the position)

• be able to read, write, and solve math problems
• be able to interpret, understand, follow, and communicate instructions
