With expertise in using material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, the Forklift Operator is equipped to move, load, and unload materials throughout the facility and surrounding area.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify and provide the proper vending and cold drink equipment to satisfy the sales requirements.
- The installation of protective wrapping and the attachment of appropriate documentation (STO) is imperative to guarantee the safety and security of outbound loads.
- Provide support for delivery operations by helping to load and unload trailers according to CCCI's SOPs. Keep track of inbound and outbound loads and maintain accuracy by using handhelds to update SAP and CONA. This ensures accountability for the territories served by the Regional Operation Center.
- Uphold safety and organization by carrying out essential safety and housekeeping duties such as conducting pre- and post-trip evaluations, reviewing daily documentation, and maintaining a tidy and hazard-free workspace.
- Complete a variety of tasks based on directions, such as relocating equipment, disposing of unnecessary items, and carrying out regular outdoor maintenance.
- Use a switching process to transport pup and 53' trailers to the designated loading area as required.

- Proficient implementation of primary safety principles, such as correct lifting postures and the use of personal safety gear.
- Capable of operating forklifts within narrow aisles and spaces without compromising safety or productivity.

- Competent in handling several elementary machines simultaneously.

- The job mandates the skill to work with ease in challenging situations like soaring and plummeting temperatures, deafening noise, precarious footing, and glass fragments.
- On occasion, the lifting of weights that are more than 25 pounds may be required, though this is not something that occurs frequently.
- Resilience in sitting for extended periods.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Employers are legally required to ensure their workers have the necessary certification and training for forklift and pallet jack operation.
- Switcher operation certification.
- It could be necessary to have a Class A CDL in certain situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous involvement in the logistics supply chain.
- Properly securing all items in the trailer during loading and while in transit is essential for safety and compliance. Any loose items can shift during transit and cause damage or injuries.
Work Environment:
- An environment that is non-temperature-controlled and prone to high levels of noise, with consistent variations in temperature between hot and cold.
