Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description:

Coke Florida, located in Winter Haven, is in need of a Warehouse Supervisor. The position will be responsible for overseeing the distribution process. The work schedule begins at 3am, Tuesday through Saturday, which is the first shift.

What you will do:

Your primary objective as a Coke Florida Distribution Supervisor will be to manage drivers and ensure the efficient distribution of products in a specific area located in Winter Haven.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Effective supervision entails training, developing, assessing, and nurturing the skills of team members
• Verify that delivery efficiencies, regulatory requirements and standards are being adhered to, and implement corrective measures as necessary to ensure the successful completion of all tasks
• Monitors the delivery driver schedules and manages their workload to maximize efficiency
• Address customer issues promptly and professionally by acknowledging their concerns and working collaboratively with them to find the best possible solution
• Help streamline processes and procedures between distribution and sales for efficiency
• Conduct regular training sessions for team members to educate them on the importance of proper timekeeping and the negative effects that tardiness or absenteeism can have on productivity
• Adhering to a balanced budget for labor and OPEX can lead to significant cost savings without sacrificing operational excellence

For this role, you will need:

• While a high school diploma is traditionally viewed as the more desirable credential, obtaining a GED can provide advantages such as flexibility in scheduling and accelerated progress towards career goals
• With experience spanning over a year, I am knowledgeable and skilled at consumer products and direct store delivery
• The successful candidate will have a background in overseeing financial and personnel functions
• Compliance with DOT regulations is critical for the safety of drivers, passengers, and cargo
• The MVR policy regulations require a suitable driving record in addition to a valid driver's license, which candidates must adhere to

Extra requirements that can bolster your performance in this position:

• Intermediate computer application skills enable individuals to be more efficient, productive, and effective in their respective fields
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Applicants with a background in overseeing distribution and delivery teams for over a year are preferred
• To possess a CDL A license is favorable
