The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, but flexibility to work overtime on weekends or beyond is required

By using specialized equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, the Fulfillment Specialist must complete material movement tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Choose the most suitable vending and cold drink dispensing systems to fulfill sales requests.
• The installation of protective wrapping and the attachment of appropriate documentation (STO) is imperative to guarantee the safety and security of outbound loads.
• As per CCCI's guidelines, assist with the loading and unloading of trailers to support delivery operations. Keep track of inbound and outbound loads and ensure accuracy by updating SAP and CONA through handhelds. This maintains accountability for the territories serviced by the Regional Operation Center.
• Ensure a safe and organized environment by prioritizing safety and housekeeping tasks such as conducting pre- and post-trip checks, reviewing daily documentation, and managing clutter in the workplace.
• Perform a variety of duties as directed, including physically transferring equipment, clearing out equipment deemed obsolete, and tending to the yard space.
• Utilize a switching mechanism to move pup and 53' trailers to the designated dock area as necessary.

• Adequate comprehension of fundamental safety principles, such as effective lifting techniques and utilizing protective gear.
• Skilled in operating single-wide forklifts with precision and caution in confined areas.
• Basic pallet-jack skills.
• Primary mechanical skills and straightforward manipulation of tools.
• Capable of handling several basic machines effectively.
• Documented procedures and instructions should be strictly followed.
• Record task completion and results using traditional or digital documentation.
• Follow verbal instructions.
• Intermediate math skills.
• A broad understanding of the factors that contribute to increased productivity.
• Competency to appraise the order building process, streamline the loading workflow, and determine the best pick and load path.
• Simultaneously managing multiple tasks is an imperative part of supporting overall system efficiency.
• The ability to meticulously count incoming shipments and compare them with the manifest is a valuable skill.
• Ensuring precise loading of trucks in compliance with documentation guidelines on a consistent basis.
• Shows proficiency in expressing oneself verbally and in writing.
• The role demands adaptability to work efficiently in searing temperatures, noisy atmospheres, treacherous walking paths, and potentially dangerous broken glass.
• Sometimes, the job may entail a degree of lifting that goes beyond the usual 25-pound maximum, but these occasions are few and far between.
• The capacity to remain seated for extended periods.
• Consistent mounting and dismounting of a forklift.
• Truck dock entrances and exits have to be opened and closed to facilitate the smooth flow of goods.

Minimum Qualifications:

• By getting certified for forklifts and pallet jacks, workers can improve their job prospects and earning potential.
• Switcher operation certification.
• The possession of a CDL of Class A may be prescribed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Work history in the field of logistics and transport.
• Weight distribution should be considered when selecting the type of trailer to use. Certain trailer types are better suited for heavier or bulkier cargo while others are more appropriate for lighter, more delicate loads.

• An atmosphere that is marked by noise and lacks regulated temperature, fluctuating between both high-heat and low-cold environments.
