Job Overview:
The Logistics Technician is responsible for performing warehouse system activities to ensure accurate accounting of inbound and outbound warehouse goods including finished goods, raw materials, and deposit Items. This position also assists in managing the flow of inbound and outbound warehouse goods to ensure maximum efficiency, while ensuring proper resource allocation and adequate dock management is maintained. The Clerk is responsible for the meticulous completion of all required logs, records, reports, and maintaining communication with warehouse management, other departments, and business partners.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Warehouse systems can effectively process a range of inbound and outbound loads, including Stock Transport Orders, purchase orders, customer shipments, and deposit loads, to improve inventory management efforts
- To ensure the efficient conduct of a warehouse, modifying, reviewing, and finalizing reports on inventory, scheduling of incoming and outgoing goods, dock management, and yard maintenance is imperative
- Cooperates with warehouse management, various departments, and external associates to foster efficiency, validate the accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments, administer appointment scheduling, and allocate available resources
- Maintains open communication channels with relevant stakeholders to ensure that they are aware of any issues or concerns arising from the logs and reports
- In addition to creating pallets, the primary responsibilities include maintaining a clean and secure work environment, as well as fulfilling any other directives as defined by management
- May be required to fulfill other obligations as assigned
A combination of intellectual abilities, professional proficiency and personal attributes account for an individual's knowledge, skills, and abilities
- The ability to use Microsoft Office and SharePoint along with familiarity with warehouse processes and systems are essential competencies for anyone working in the logistics arena
- Being able to perform tasks in a fast-paced setting with the capability of frequently lifting and walking with objects weighing up to 30 pounds
- Proficiency in handling objects up to 75 pounds
- The competence to collaborate seamlessly with others is a critical skill for modern workplaces
- The efficient and dependable running of a warehouse relies heavily on the ability to effectively coordinate and organize its processes
- Possessing the proficiency to regulate to different work areas and fulfill each task's basic requirements
- Capability to interpret and obey instructions displayed on a computer screen
- Having the ability to tell apart our products shows that you have an eye for detail
- Competence to work effectively in a non-climate controlled environment that is characterized by deafening noise (boiling heat in summers and frigid temperatures in winters)

Minimum Qualifications:
- The pursuit of a high school diploma or GED may require significant dedication and hard work, but the reward of academic accomplishment is unparalleled

- New hires have the opportunity to become certified in the operation of a Pallet Jack, a type of Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), within the initial 30 days on the job.
