Other Compensation Information

• The compensation for in-training employees is set at $19.48 hourly and the duration of training will depend on the individual's performance with regards to productivity, safety, and quality of work.After training, compensation varies by output and the standard base pay rate is $24.35 per hour. Top performers can exceed $30 per hour.
• A night shift allowance of $.75 per hour is offered.
• A freezer differential of $0.50 per hour can be obtained.
• An extra $2 per hour is offered as weekend premium pay.

What you'll do

As a Warehouse Order Selector, your earnings are within your control. The number of orders you can fulfill with efficiency and safety determines your weekly pay, which can exceed the standard. Typically, Publix Selectors attain a productivity rate above 100%, so it's achievable to earn more than your base pay.

• select, lift, carry and stack product weighing

• 85 pounds for Boxed Meat/Dairy
• stand, bend, and stoop and do repetitive work for long periods of time
• operate a pallet truck or forklift without any part of the body exposed outside of the operator compartment
• perform job duties efficiently, accurately, and safely
• read, write, and identify and verify numbers
• interpret, understand, and follow instructions and
• Pass a Physical Agility Test, as applicable

The Temperature Range at a Frozen Food Warehouse Could Last for an Extended Period, from Zero to Negative 20 Degrees Fahrenheit.

Maintaining proper conditions in the produce warehouse often calls for coping with temperatures that can fluctuate from 55° to 35° Fahrenheit for an extended period of time, while also contending with the challenges of working in a wet environment.
