Other Compensation Information

• The hourly compensation for training period is $19.48 and its length varies from 14 to 120 days based on individual efficiency and adherence to safety and quality requirements. After training, compensation varies by output and the standard base pay rate is $24.35 per hour. Top performers can exceed $30 per hour.
• Employees who work during the night receive an extra $.75/hour as part of the night differential plan.
• 0.50 per hour differential is given to those who work in a freezer.
• Employees who work on weekends can receive an extra $2 per hour premium pay.

Publix Warehouse Order Puller's are equipped with state-of-the-art technology that enables them to quickly navigate the warehouse and find the products necessary to complete each order. They are essential members of the team and play a crucial role in the overall success of Publix.

What you need to succeed

• be at least 18 years old
• work a rotating schedule which includes some weekends and holidays
• work fluctuating shifts, when needed
• select, lift, carry and stack product weighing
• 67 pounds for Frozen Foods and Produce
• 85 pounds for Boxed Meat/Dairy
• stand, bend, and stoop and do repetitive work for long periods of time
• operate a pallet truck or forklift without any part of the body exposed outside of the operator compartment
• perform job duties efficiently, accurately, and safely
• read, write, and identify and verify numbers
• interpret, understand, and follow instructions and
• Pass a Physical Agility Test, as applicable

The Temperature Inside a Frozen Food Warehouse Could Remain Constant for a Long Time, Ranging from Zero to Negative 20 Degrees Fahrenheit.

The produce warehouse environment requires workers to endure temperature fluctuations that can hover between 55° to 35° Fahrenheit for a considerable amount of time, in addition to grappling with the challenges posed by damp conditions.
