Other Compensation Information

• Pay rates for the initial salary range from a minimum to $1.00 to $2.00 above the minimum, based on experience or applicable skills
• The Company provides a night differential payment of $.75 per hour to associates who are regularly scheduled to work between midnight and 3:00 AM, except for those whose shifts begin at 3:00 AM or end at midnight.
• Associates who have been assigned to work in the Frozen Food freezer on a regular basis are entitled to an extra pay rate of $.50 per hour called the freezer differential.
• The company offers a weekend differential of $2.00 per hour to associates for hours worked from 12:00 a.m. on Saturday until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday.

Year End Bonus

During the month of November, Publix confers a Holiday Bonus to commend associates for their efforts throughout the calendar year.

If the employee remains employed by the company until the date of bonus payment, they will receive a bonus of 15 hours of pay during their first year of service and a bonus of one week's pay during their second year of continuous employment.

Whenever the bonus is given in upcoming years, it will be identical to a payment received for fourteen days of labour.
