Job Overview:

Ensuring the correct accounting of inbound and outbound goods is a primary responsibility of the Order Processing Associate, who carries out various warehouse system activities to achieve this objective. The Clerk must also manage the flow of inbound and outbound goods to ensure optimal efficiency, while providing proper dock management and resource allocation. Additionally, the Clerk must maintain accurate records, logs, and reports and communicate effectively with warehouse management, other departments, and business partners.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• The seamless movement of goods and inventory in a warehouse is made possible through the use of warehouse systems, designed to handle inbound and outbound loads like purchase orders, customer shipments, and deposit loads
• To ensure the efficient conduct of a warehouse, modifying, reviewing, and finalizing reports on inventory, scheduling of incoming and outgoing goods, dock management, and yard maintenance is imperative
• Engages with warehouse management, cross-functional teams, and external business partners to enhance productivity, oversee the precision of inbound and outbound shipments, regulate scheduling for deliveries, and allocate resources judiciously
• Develops and implements a system for managing and tracking hard copy documents, ensuring that they are always easily accessible when required
• Prioritizing the safe and sanitary state of the workplace and warehouse, in addition to completing pallet building tasks and other duties as defined by management, is crucial
• Responsible for completing tasks beyond job description as necessary

• A fundamental acquaintance with the procedures and systems that govern warehouses, alongside the ability to operate basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office and SharePoint, are crucial skills for anyone working in logistics
• Being able to work efficiently in a dynamic surrounding while frequently lifting and walking with items weighing up to 30 pounds
• Being capable of lifting up to 75 pounds
• The proficiency to work collaboratively with others is an indispensable skill for attaining organizational goals
• The ability to effectively coordinate and organize operations is fundamental to achieving efficient and trustworthy warehouse processes
• Having the aptitude to adapt to multiple job tasks and meet each role's basic requirements
• Efficiently reading and executing instructions from a computer screen
• Accurately identifying the differences between our packages is key and requires precision
• Competence to work effectively in a non-climate controlled environment that is characterized by deafening noise (boiling heat in summers and frigid temperatures in winters)
• A driven individual who consistently exceeds expectations, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to excellence and drive to continuously improve, resulting in increased productivity and success in all endeavors
• The business has the ability to adjust work hours to align with the most pressing demands

Minimum Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED is often seen as a prerequisite for further education, such as community college or university studies
• The insight gained from one to three years of practical work experience
• New employees have the chance to obtain a certification for a Pallet Jack, which is a type of Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), during their first 30 days on the job.
