Other Compensation Information

• In-training pay is $19.48 per hour and the length of training varies from 14 to 120 days, depending on individual productivity, safety, and quality of work.After successfully completing their training, employees' remuneration will be based on their productivity, with the starting hourly rate being $24.35.
• Night workers are entitled to a differential pay of $.75 per hour.
• Those working in a freezer can get a differential of $0.50 per hour.
• A weekend premium rate of $2 per hour is part of the compensation package.

What you need to succeed

• be at least 18 years old
• work a rotating schedule which includes some weekends and holidays
• work fluctuating shifts, when needed
• select, lift, carry and stack product weighing
• 67 pounds for Frozen Foods and Produce
• 85 pounds for Boxed Meat/Dairy
• stand, bend, and stoop and do repetitive work for long periods of time
• operate a pallet truck or forklift without any part of the body exposed outside of the operator compartment
• perform job duties efficiently, accurately, and safely
• read, write, and identify and verify numbers
• interpret, understand, and follow instructions and
• Pass a Physical Agility Test, as applicable

Enduring Extreme Temperatures in the Department's Boxed Meat/Dairy Warehouse.

The Stored Frozen Food Remains Safe and Fresh Thanks to the Consistent Temperature Range of Zero to Negative 20 Degrees Fahrenheit within the Warehouse.

The ability to work efficiently in the produce warehouse environment necessitates the capacity to tolerate prolonged exposure to temperatures ranging from 55° to 35° Fahrenheit, as well as managing to function in a wet setting.
