Job Overview:

The Logistics Support Specialist is responsible for performing warehouse system activities that ensure the accurate documentation of inbound and outbound goods, including finished goods, raw materials, and deposit items. Effective management of the flow of inbound and outbound goods is a crucial part of the Clerk's role, with a specific emphasis on proper dock management and resource allocation. The Clerk must also maintain accurate logs, records, and reports and communicate effectively with warehouse management, other departments, and business partners.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Managing the movement of goods and inventory in a warehouse becomes much simpler with the use of a warehouse system, which automates the processing of inbound and outbound loads
• Completing and refining warehouse systems reports that detail inbound and outbound schedules, dock management, stock availability, and yard upkeep can prove highly beneficial to optimal warehouse performance
• Engages with warehouse management, cross-functional teams, and external business partners to enhance productivity, oversee the precision of inbound and outbound shipments, regulate scheduling for deliveries, and allocate resources judiciously
• Provides clear, concise, and timely reports to management as necessary, highlighting any issues or areas of concern that arise
• Meeting management requirements, including maintaining a clean and safe workspace and constructing pallets, is a critical component of the job
• Should be prepared to take on extra assignments

• A basic understanding of warehouse processes and systems, combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint, is critical for individuals committed to a career in logistics
• The capacity to work in a demanding environment whilst carrying and raising objects that weigh 30 pounds repetitively
• Being able to bear up to 75 pounds in weight
• The dexterity to work effectively with colleagues is a key factor in achieving organizational objectives
• A well-organized and coordinated warehouse is crucial for ensuring efficient and reliable operations
• The ability to be flexible and adapt to varying job demands while meeting the minimum requirements of each job task
• Proficiently understanding and following computer screen instructions
• Accurately identifying the differences between our packages is key and requires precision
• Aptitude to work in an atmosphere that is always noisy and has no climate control (extremely hot in summers and biting cold in winters)
• A proactive and adaptable worker who takes on new responsibilities with gusto, unafraid of stepping out of their comfort zone and embracing new challenges with enthusiasm
• The company is capable of shifting its schedule to optimize productivity and customer service

Minimum Qualifications:

• Earning a high school diploma or GED is a source of pride for many individuals, and often serves as a foundation for personal and professional growth
• The skill set developed through one to three years of actual work experience
• A certification for the operation of a Pallet Jack, which is a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), can be obtained by new employees in the first month of their work.
