Job Overview:
In the Seasonal Automated Warehouse, the Pallet Jack Operator is responsible for fulfilling customer orders efficiently, safely, and accurately. They accomplish this by selecting and stacking the required items from the pick list or computer onto a pre-determined conveyor or pallet. Moreover, they must construct durable pallets in a way that meets or exceeds company expectations for safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The job of an assistant in an automated environment involves the utilization of advanced machinery, software, and computers to help with item selection and placement. You also strictly adhere to all existing safety policies and procedures at CCCI while working in a loud, time-sensitive environment, requiring you to multitask and make quick judgments.
- Organizes warehouse procedures with the help of a team to ensure smooth operations.
- Demonstrates the ability to adapt to the needs of the position by remaining cognizant of the various work areas within the organization and meeting the minimum requirements of each area, which include, but are not restricted to, HQS, Semi-Automated Lanes, Pallet Pick, and Flow Rack.
- As an assistant in warehouse operation, you are tasked with keeping your work area tidy, free of trash and garbage while promptly cleaning up any spills with full compliance with the guidelines for the management of waste and recycling.
- Follows safe, accurate, and efficient principles for managing warehouse inventory, while monitoring shrinkage to ensure it remains within acceptable limits.
- Plays a key role in the smooth functioning of a dynamic warehouse environment by carrying out miscellaneous tasks as directed.
